The 90° Rebuild Jeans by Takahiro Miyashita for TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloist. are an experimental reinterpretation of classic denim, constructed through a radical reconstruction process that rotates the structure of vintage jeans by 90 degrees. The result is a striking silhouette that challenges conventional denim design while preserving the authenticity of vintage materials.
Originally released as part of the Fall/Winter 2019 collection, each pair is created by dismantling vintage denim—often classic Levi’s pieces—and reassembling them with the orientation shifted, causing the pockets, button fly, and seams to appear in unexpected positions.
