Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Ref. 311.30.42.30.01.005
The Speedmaster was introduced in 1957 as a racing chronograph, not a space watch. Its tachymeter scale was placed on the bezel rather than the dial—an innovative feature at the time. That racing watch would eventually become one of the most famous tool watches ever made.
In 1965, after rigorous testing, NASA selected the Speedmaster for all manned space missions. It became the first watch worn on the Moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969 and famously helped time the critical engine burn during Apollo 13, cementing its legendary status.
A very nice example, in excellent pre-owned condition. Comes as a complete set.
