Prada Luna Rossa is an Italian yacht racing team backed by the Prada Group. Competing in many events since their debut in 1997 -The America's Cups for the most part (Hence the name of their classic sneakers)- that year they competed in the Louis Vuitton cup, the regatta that serves as the challenger series for the America's Cup. In which they didn't come first but they solidified the team and the Luna Rossa as very solid competitors. - VVC
